Major Emmerdale twist as two unlikely residents are in cahoots to destroy Kim Tate

It’s been confirmed that Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) and Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco) are working together in Emmerdale to destroy Kim Tate (Claire King).

Up until Monday’s (May 27) episode, we’ve known Rose as simply Dawn’s (Olivia Bromley) estranged mother – and someone who is annoying Kim a great deal.

All she’s been doing for the past few weeks is trying to develop a connection with Dawn and enjoying Kim’s posh drinks tray – but it seems that’s all set to change from here on in.

After a brief interaction between Rose and Ruby in the pub, which established they know each other somehow, they then met up at the graveyard.

Rose alluded to the fact she didn’t want to be a part of Ruby’s plan anymore, because Dawn’s son Evan is poorly and it was making her feel terrible.

Ruby told her friend that once their revenge is complete, she’ll be able to be a mum to Dawn – something she’s always wanted.

So, what’s the plan?

Split Kim and Will (Dean Andrews) up, let Ruby take Home Farm (something Caleb (William Ash) believes belongs to them anyway) and allow Rose to emotionally support Dawn when everything falls apart.

It appears Ruby has been secretly developing quite the plot on behalf of her husband, who’s own plan to destroy Kim Tate failed spectacularly last year.

But will it work this time?

At the end of their chat, Rose was reassured by Ruby when she said absolutely no one would find out about this – which is always a case of famous last words because the duo had failed to spot Ethan (Emile John) overhearing their entire chat.

But given the fact we know he’ll collapse soon, will Ethan be too late in his attempt at exposing Ruby and Rose?
