Emmerdale confirms death story aftermath as much-loved favourite is stabbed in 20 pictures
Emmerdale lines up a week of heartache and misery for the residents of the eponymous village, with one character left fighting for their life after a scuffle goes horribly wrong, as confirmed in my new pictures.
The ITV soap has been non-stop in terms of drama this past month or so, with shocking car accidents, unexpected twists – not to mention surprise deaths – leaving audiences in shock.
And the shocks are set to continue next week, with one character ending up in a critical condition after he’s stabbed.
Samson Dingle’s (Sam Hall) new friend Josh proves incredibly problematic, leaving Lydia (Karen Blick) concerned for her stepson’s wellbeing. And concerned she very much should be.
The newcomer attempts to flirt with Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson), much to the dismay of Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano), who intervenes and calls Josh out over his inappropriate behaviour. Josh, however, refuses to leave well enough alone and steps up his sick plan, as he resorts to transphobia, deadnaming Matty.
A stand-off ensues, with Josh demanding that Matty hand over the money from the till but Samson winds up injured, stabbed by the knife Matty was holding.
The questions are: Will Samson pull through? What’s more, will Matty be in trouble for the incident, despite not being the person to blame?
Elsewhere in the village, Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco) manages to make some headway with estranged daughter Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley), who is grateful to her for taking her mind of Evan’s condition.
Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), however, berates Rose after she endangers Dawn’s recovery by offering her heavy duty sleeping tablets.
The altercation halts her plans to destroy Kim Tate (Claire King) and she’s forced to relay such a thing to Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly).
Ruby and Dawn, as viewers know by now, are in cahoots and planning on taking Kim down once and for all. But will they succeed?
