Emmerdale confirms romance for two very unlikely residents – and there’s sparks
We just gave a little squee of excitement – unlikely couple Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) and Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) are getting it on! We have been rooting in these two, and it’s finally getting off the ground in no small part down to Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) and her little word in Gabby’s ear about shunning her usual type of bloke in Emmerdale.
It’s done the trick, as it looks like Gabby is seeing Vinny in a whole new light.
Vinny is a good guy, and not one of the self-proclaimed good guys who is actually a bad guy in sheep’s clothing, he is a bonafide good guy, and Gabby is starting to realise she might have landed on her feet with this one.
Things are progressing nicely, even after his faux pas early on, but there’s a huge elephant in the room which Vinny is fearful of broaching – the fact that he’s a virgin.
The couple are having a lovely time getting to know each other in a new way, sharing some drinks and having a giggle.
Before long, they find themselves testing out their kissing techniques.
But Vinny is thrown off his game when Gail, in her typical thoughtless style, makes an admission – she knows he’s a virgin and wants to help. Vinny had been convinced it was a secret, so he is knocked for six at her casual reveal.
Vinny is in a spin and snaps at Gail before calling things off with Gabby.
Gabby is embarrassed and has no idea what she’s done, so she shamefully exits, leaving Vinny wracked with guilt with no clue how to bring things back. Gabby’s gone, the evening is finished.
Has he ruined his chances with Gabby, or will he now finally confess what’s holding him back?
