Emmerdale spoilers: Kim fears plotting Rose may make Evan even more seriously ill during cancer battle

Kim Tate (Claire King) put another plan into place in Thursday’s (June 6) episode of Emmerdale to try and get rid of Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco) – but it didn’t exactly work.

Rose has been a thorn in Kim’s side ever since she arrived in the village. At first, we were led to believe Rose was in the Dales because she wanted to build a relationship with daughter Dawn (Olivia Bromley), but we now know she also has a secret.

It was confirmed that Ruby (Beth Cordingly) and Rose are working together to destroy Kim Tate by splitting her and Will (Dean Andrews) up. Ruby has paid off Rose’s debts, meaning that Rose is now very much in debt to her and Ruby left her under no illusions – if she fails in her mission Ruby will be expecting all the money back.

Yesterday, Kim walked in on Rose and Will have a cosy little chat. Kim failed to hear the contents of their conversation, but seeing her husband sharing a drink with his ex was enough to wind her up.

We know the chat between Rose and Will saw her open up about their past together. As she became more honest, it was clear the ice between the former couple was starting to thaw.

Later, Kim confronted Will about his afternoon. She said that to do a complete ‘180’ and warm to Rose after a few drinks would be pretty ‘pathetic’, and a guilty Will said that definitely wasn’t the case – but he certainly wasn’t telling the complete truth.

In tonight’s episode of the ITV soap, Kim turned her attention back to Rose. When she returned from the hospital to have her arm brace removed, Rose was taken aback when Dawn and Kim implied that she needed to leave Home Farm.

Dawn said that because Evan is so poorly, it’s important to minimise the amount of people the family see, thus decreasing the chance of Evan picking up the germs.

Because Rose is constantly ‘in and out like a fiddler’s elbow’ (Will’s words, before you ask), Dawn and Kim said it would be best if she leaves.

Wanting to keep in Dawn’s good books, Rose respected the comments and said she’d stay at the B&B.

Unable to create more upset for her children, Dawn told Rose she could stay.

Now Kim’s plan hasn’t worked, it still leaves Rose with the opportunity to get closer to Will.

But will her and Ruby’s plan eventually be a success?
