Belle’s decision to cover up the abortion leads to her confessing to her Mental Health Care Coordinator, Rachel, and soon the truth about the abuse could come to light.
Belle fears that Rachel is starting to realise the extent of Tom’s controlling behaviour and is desperate for her to leave but as Rachel reassures Belle, the reality of Tom’s abuse finally hits home. Belle ends up deciding to flee the village and Tom, advised to have some space from him.
But with her bags packed and her ready to flee she is unaware that a furious Tom has uncovered she has been lying to him. When he realises Belle took a trip to the abortion clinic, he begins to attack his surroundings with an iron bar.
