Emmerdale is lining up dramatic scenes next week when Mandy Dingle reveals a big secret to Rhona Goskirk, which she is hiding from partner Paddy Kirk and her family
Emmerdale’s Mandy Dingle reveals she’s been hiding a big secret next week.
Spoilers for next week reveal that Mandy is struggling with money woes and that she is hiding the truth from everyone around her. Viewers will recall that Mandy currently owns PampaManda a beauty salon in the village, where Amelia Spencer is employed.
However, next week it appears all isn’t going too well for Mandy as she decides to open up to Rhona Goskirk, who she has recently developed a new close friendship with, about her financial troubles. Yet despite confiding in Rhona, Mandy continues to hide her money woes from everyone else as her financial worries mount. What will Mandy do and is she at risk of losing PampaManda?
Earlier this year, Paddy and Mandy got engaged following a tumultuous time for the couple. Prior to the proposal, Mandy was upset that Paddy, who had previously humiliated her at an event, kissed his former flame Chas Dingle. To hit back at him, she kissed doctor Liam Cavanagh to get back at her partner. However, despite the drama, they decided to get back together when Paddy surprised Mandy in his Prince Charming outfit. When they were home later, Paddy decided he didn’t want to lose Mandy and he proposed to her.

This isn’t the first time the duo have been married and they tied the knot back in 1999. However, back in the 90s, Mandy and Paddy’s marriage came to an end after she had an affair with her college lecturer, with Mandy soon leaving the village and not returning until 2019.
Meanwhile, Mandy has had a few weddings as she married Butch Dingle, her cousin, in the 90s before wedding Paddy shortly after. She was due to wed her partner Paul Ashdale in 2021, only for him to be killed in an explosion on her wedding day, while he was exposed to be abusing his son Vinny Dingle in the same episode.
It comes as Emmerdale’s new producer, Sophie Roper, discussed with The Mirror and other press what drama the Dales is bringing in the second six months of 2024. Teasing Paddy and Mandy tying the knot, she said: “Elsewhere in the Dingle world, we’ve got Mandy and Paddy building towards a wedding. It is Mandy and Paddy, so that’s going to be filled with fun. We’ve had Mandy’s dress made in-house by one of our dressmakers. It’s going to be very Mandy. It’s going to be very big. It’s going to be very fun. So look out for some fun in amongst all of that with the Dingle clan.”
