Emmerdale confirms Tom King attack as Cain reels in 17 pictures

Emmerdale lines up a disturbing week next week as Tom King’s (James Chase) control over wife Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) reaches shocking new heights, as confirmed in my spoiler picture gallery.

The ITV soap has seen Tom inflict emotional and physical abuse on wife Belle in a story that has been airing across much of the year.

In a bid to further isolate her from his family, Tom concocted a sick and twisted plan to take Belle away to a Welsh cottage, claiming it was a holiday for the two, all the while he plots to make the situation more permanent.

Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), however, is on to him and, next week, she’s left spooked when she learn of Tom’s new job in Wales.

Confiding in Cain (Jeff Hordley), the Woolpack landlady admits that Tom reminds her of Bails.

Chilled by such a thing, Cain swoops into action with Charity, who breaks into Dale Head to find out anything they can on Tom and Belle’s whereabouts.

The pair locate Tom’s surveillance equipment – which disturbs them – and, upon finding the address of the cottage in Wales, they waste little time in heading to the location.

Upon arriving at the property, things take a chilling turn, with Cain and Charity finding the house wrecked – and covered in blood.

The question is: just where are Belle and Tom? And, what’s more, what has happened?

Answers will soon be offered up, with a special flashback episode hitting screens next week too, which detail Belle and Tom’s getaway. Belle is in good spirits at the beginning but, soon enough, the holiday descends into a nightmare.

Elsewhere during the week in question, Ella Forster (Paula Lane) finds herself in the firing line of Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh), who is fed up with life, while Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) struggles with her financial issues.

Not a week to be missed!

Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday, July 22 and Friday, July 26 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
