Emmerdale murder ‘sealed’ for Nate Robinson as ITV soap legend’s exit confirmed

Jurell Carter was confirmed to be on his way out of Emmerdale with a spokesperson adding his exit would be 'explosive." This was enough for fans to suspect he may be killed off.

Nate Robinson’s time in Emmerdale is drawing to an end and some fans believe Tom King may play a part in his exit.

Actor Jurell Carter, who has portrayed the hunk since his debut in the ITV soap in 2019, was confirmed to be leaving the long-running drama after five years with a spokesperson saying: “Nate has been at the centre of some huge storylines and his exit will be no different.”

“It will be dramatic and explosive and will go down in Emmerdale history. It won’t be one to miss”, the insider added. “Jurell has loved being on the soap but he’s a young actor and it’s understandable he wants to spread his wings.”

“He’s got a lot of talent – not to mention the looks – to become a big star and leaving the soap is the only way he can do that. Five years is a good run but he feels it’s time.”

But after these claims and the promise of more drama-packed scenes featuring the son of Cain Dingle, some fans have agreed that he may fit into another storyline, which they have begged bosses to end for months, particularly as actor James Chase has also been tipped to leave the soap later this year.

One theory now suggests that Nate could be killed by James’ alter ego Tom King, as he tries to save his aunt Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) from his grasp. Tom has been abusing Belle for months, both physically and psychologically, suggesting that he may be in for a painful Dingle retribution.

“It was said a while back that Nate was leaving Emmerdale and it was just recently said that Tom is also leaving”, one fan penned on social media. “Now if the dots were to be joined up I am just wondering is it Nate that kills Tom and that is how Nate leaves the show?”

Due to Belle and Nate’s previously strong bond, other viewers had no trouble believing Nate’s story would unfold and end in bloodshed. “It’s likely. If you remember he was pretty close to Belle once upon a time, especially when he was disowned by Cain”, one agreed.

In July, however, actors for the Yorkshire-based drama, including newcomer Oliver Farnworth aka John Sugden, were spotted filming scenes, seemingly caught up in a barn fire.

While Jurell Carter wasn’t tipped to be one of the stars presenter, it was said that Cain actor Jeff Hordley called out for his on-screen wife Moira, with whom Nate embarked on an affair upon his arrival in Emmerdale.

And with Ruby Fox-Miligan becoming part of the upcoming storyline, the woman who once told Nate his wife Tracey had been cheating on him with his uncle Caleb, could Nate somehow also be involved and be left to perish in the fire horror?
