Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ John Sugden’s deadly revenge against two characters

Emmerdale viewers think Mackenzie Boyd and Aaron Dingle may need to watch their backs after taking on newcomer John Sugden on the ITV soap, leading to tense scenes

Emmerdale fans had a warning for two characters on the ITV soap on Monday, as they worked out John Sugden would seek revenge.

After spoilers teased the newcomer and Jack Sugden’s secret son would be out to get the characters after a betrayal, scenes on Monday saw him take aim at both of them. Aaron Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd found themselves on his hit list, after causing his beloved van, also his home, to fall into a lake.

John was furious and vowed to make them pay, trying to attack Mack before leading Aaron on. But fans think this is just the start of his “shock” revenge plan.

Viewers suggested deadly scenes could be ahead, with him unlikely going to let the pair get away with destroying his van. Taking to X, one fan suggested he could end up killing the pair as others said he would have something planned.

One viewer said: “I think Mack and Aaron will have a shock coming to them. John isn’t going to let him away with it.” Another agreed: “Aaron and Mackenzie have dumped John’s van in the lake and he want’s to kill them for it, they aren’t taking it seriously.”

A third fan posted: “One more reason for John to kill Mack and Aaron,” as a fourth said: “Is John an assassin or something!” Another comment read: “This looks like it’s going to get messy.”

It comes after Victoria Sugden found out she had a secret half-brother, John. A day earlier John had got steamy with Aaron, unaware he was the ex-husband of his and Victoria’s brother Robert Sugden.

Aaron was horrified when he realised this, and soon he clashed with John. But on Monday it was clear he wanted to give into passion with John once more, but John was only leading him on to get him back for ruining his van.

It seems John could be hiding something, as he gets annoyed at his sister this week when she asks him about his past. She hands him some army dog tags, and he’s left rattled – but what is he hiding?
