Last year, Emmerdale worked with the Yorkshire Air Ambulance service to film a dramatic stunt for Super Soap Week.

It involved a helicopter arriving to save Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland), who had tumbled down a cliff in her car after Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) saved Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) over her.

There’s a great deal of mystery surrounding the soap returning to Bradford to film once more.

A team of cast and crew members were spotted in a small part of Bradford called Little Germany on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

Several actors were performing outside a warehouse, with plenty of filming trucks, lighting equipment and an ambulance also being spotted.

Emmerdale had no comment to make when approached by Metro.co.uk.

This week in Emmerdale, Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and Tom King’s (James Chase) storyline continues to be one that has fans doing a lot of talking.

On Monday, Tom told Belle that her dog Piper had died after being hit by a car. As he tried to comfort her, Belle eventually managed to work out that Tom was responsible for hitting her beloved pooch.

Tom then arrived at Wishing Well with a basket ready for Piper’s funeral. As he spoke about how much he loved the dog, it made Belle feel angry.

Struggling to have her voice heard, Belle then made her way to the police station to enquire about Clare’s Law, a system in place that allows the police to disclose whether someone – Tom in this case – has a history of abusing.

Yesterday, the soap delivered another shock twist when it was confirmed Piper was actually alive.

Tom took the dog to a cottage where a couple were waiting for him.

The evil man said to them that the ‘awful woman’ who owned Piper had tied her up 24 hours a day, and ‘won’t even realise she’s gone.’
