Emmerdale’s Caleb Miligan’s real plan for Jai Sharma ‘confirmed’ after telling scene

Emmerdale may have revealed what Caleb Miligan is up to and whether he’s targeting Jai Sharma on the ITV soap.

Viewers grew suspicious recently as Caleb got involved in Jai’s bitter split with Laurel Thomas. He encouraged the businessman to be harsh with his now ex, and to be clever to ensure he kept what was his.

Jai has made a number of enemies in the village recently, with Caleb swooping in as a new ally. The pair have discussed going into business together, talking about getting things moving on Monday night.

Jai was growing impatient, not wanting to be partners with Caleb and invest his money unless he knew things were going ahead. Caleb had told him they needed to wait it out amid his recent drama, but Jai refused to wait and urged Caleb to secure the land they wanted to buy for their venture.

Soon, Caleb looked to be on the phone speaking to the estate agent for the land they were pursuing. He told Jai the good news that if they wanted it, the land was theirs.

But Caleb wanted to know from Jai whether they were a team, and if they were still working together. Jai confirmed this to be the case, seeming thrilled at his new opportunity.

As the chat came to an end though, a telling moment with Caleb may have given away what’s really going on. Caleb appeared to smirk when Jai wasn’t looking, as though he had something up his sleeve.

Fans had previously questioned whether Caleb was using Jai and planning on scamming him, after the pair seemed to team up against Will Taylor and Jimmy King. With a scheme seeing Caleb possibly sabotaging things at the haulage firm, might Jai be Caleb’s latest victim?

Fans certainly thought so, taking to X with their theories.
