Emmerdale Moira Dingle left for dead in heartbreaking twist as soap ‘reveals’ what’s wrong

Emmerdale's Moira Dingle, played by Natalie J. Robb, was seen suffering a seizure during Tuesday's episode, amid fans voicing their concerns for the character.

Emmerdale has seemingly revealed the health issue plaguing Moira Dingle, after a shocking seizure.

The iconic character, portrayed by Natalie J. Robb, has been causing concern among viewers and her on-screen family in recent episodes. Her erratic behaviour began following the traumatic incident involving her son Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano).

Fans will remember that Matty was imprisoned after an incident with Samson Dingle (Sam Hall), but was later released when Samson confessed the truth. However, it’s Moira’s unusual antics and sudden outbursts that have been drawing attention.

Alongside clashing with her husband Cain (Jeff Hordley) and acting out of character, Moira has resumed drinking after overcoming substance abuse three years prior. In Tuesday’s episode (August 27), the plot took a dramatic twist.

At the beginning of the episode, Cain was displeased to find Moira praising Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter), which stirred up painful memories of their past affair.

Later, while tending to a new animal at her barn, Moira suddenly had a seizure and collapsed in a distressing scene, suggesting she may be struggling with epilepsy, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Fans quickly voiced their concerns for the beloved character.

Emmerdale viewers have taken to a Facebook fan page to express their concerns for Moira Dingle’s health, with one fan commenting: “Poor Moira looks like she’s got something serious going off health-wise.”

Another added their thoughts, saying: “It could be a brain tumour. Hope it’s nothing serious.” Speculation continued as a third person posted: “Brain tumour or clot?”

The theories didn’t stop there, as another chimed in: “Moira could have a possible tumour. It would explain her changed personality.”

And a fifth fan speculated: “That was hard to watch, almost had tears. Please be ok Moira!”

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
