Emmerdale’s Cain Dingle ‘framed for murder’ after fans spot chilling Tom King twist

Emmerdale viewers are convinced that Tom King (James Chase) is going to frame Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) for murder after Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter) suddenly disappeared

Emmerdale viewers are on the edge of their seats predicting that Tom King will set up Cain Dingle for a murder in a shocking new plot twist.

Cain’s world has been rocked after he found out about the horrific abuse his sister Belle Dingle (played by Eden Taylor-Draper) suffered at the hands of the vile Tom (portrayed by James Chase). Belle spilled her guts to Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), who then had the tough job of telling Cain about the harrowing situation.

Fuming Cain was all set to have it out with Tom straight away, but he respected Belle’s wishes, passed on by Charity, to leave it be. But it’s not just Belle’s nightmare that’s got Cain in a spin.

The fan-favourite has been off-kilter for ages, leading to a bombshell drop that she’d “kissed” Cain’s boy Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter).

In a recent episode, Moira made a move on her stepson, who knocked her back and gave her a ticking off. But it turned out Moira was having a seizure and wasn’t actually trying to snog him, reports Leeds Live.

Cain’s bro Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) saw the “kiss” and told a fuming Cain. Die-hard fans will remember that Moira and Nate had a fling when he first came to the village, putting her marriage to Cain on the line.

After hearing about the “kiss”, Cain went ballistic at Nate in jaw-dropping scenes, cutting ties with his son despite Nate’s sincere protests of innocence.

Nate was left in a dangerous situation after the assault and has now exited the village, while Tom has mysteriously disappeared as well. Some viewers speculate that Tom may have murdered Nate intending to frame Cain for the crime.

One social media user speculated: “Maybe Tom has killed Nate knowing that cain will get done for it.” Another chimed in with support: “Great theory.”

Meanwhile, a third commenter suggested: “Nate’s body is going to turn up in the barn or near the barn ….He just disappeared, which is strange.”

Despite the wild theories, actor Jurrell Carter, who has been portraying Nate for the past five years, revealed that his character snagged a new gig in Shetland. As avid soap watchers are aware, in the world of soaps, anything is possible.

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
