An eventful week awaits in Emmerdale (Picture: ITV)

It’s another tough few days for Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) in Emmerdale next week, as she makes a disturbing discovery about her estranged husband Tom King (James Chase).

But as she weighs up reporting his crimes to the police, Belle finds herself in a fresh ordeal at the hands of her abuser.

Elsewhere on the ITV soap, Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) also makes a startling discovery about long-lost brother John (Oliver Farnworth), as she digs into his past, while there is expected passion for two locals as dislike turns into lust.

Here’s the full lowdown on what’s happening in next week’s episodes…

Monday 23 September

Victoria is annoyed when John ignores her attempts to show him old family photos and snatches his phone off him. She’s shocked to find he’s been texting Aaron and quizzes him on their secret affair. But when he storms out of the pub, she wonders what else he could be hiding.

Later that day, Victoria knocks on John’s van intending to apologise, but gets no response and lets herself in. She then finds dog tags with ‘Aidan Moore’ stamped on them but is caught by John, who is enraged by the invasion of privacy and throws her out.

Meanwhile, Belle gets a call from landlord Kim (Claire King) that Dale Head has been left in a mess and Lydia (Karen Blick) supports her as they go to check the house out. Inside, Belle notices a mini secret camera and is mortified to realise Tom has been secretly filming her.

Tuesday 24 September

Lydia encourages Belle to go to the police about hidden cameras but is concerned when she adamantly refuses, scared of having to relive the trauma and have the footage played in court.

When Lydia shares her experience reporting Craig to the police, Belle is left thoughtful. Lydia is upset after the memories of her ordeal are brought back to life, but hopes she’s said enough to encourage Belle to report her ex-husband.

Worried that her ideas are too modern for a church setting, Charles (Kevin Mathurin) and Claudette (Flo Wilson) bicker with Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) about her thoughts for the harvest festival.

Wednesday 25 September

Amelia gets the wrong end of the stick and gives Belle and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) both barrels for their campaign against her boyfriend.

After some digging, Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson) and Kerry (Laura Norton) both suspect that Amelia (Daisy Campbell) must still be in contact with Tom.

Thursday 26 September

As Belle expects a visit from Amelia, she is horrified when Tom lets himself in. A terrifying situation ensues, as he then blocks her exit and proceeds to lock the doors.

Charles is annoyed when he sees that Laurel’s gone ahead with her own ideas without consulting him. But their dislike quickly turns into passion as they end up kissing. Shocked by their attraction, the pair enjoy some spikey back and forth before heading upstairs.

Unaware of what’s happening, Manpreet (Rebecca Sarkar) encourages Jai (Chris Bisson) to tell Laurel how he feels about her and privately considers doing the same with Charles. Having made up her mind to tell Charles, Manpreet arrives at Woodbine…

Elsewhere, John acts quickly to prevent Pollard from having an angina attack. After impressing Liam (Jonny McPherson) with his quick thinking, John accepts the job at Brook Surgery.

Emmerdale airs Monday to Thursday next week at 7.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
