It appears Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) has killed Tom King (James Chase) in Emmerdale.

The beloved character has been desperate to escape Tom’s clutches but whenever she has attempted something, he always seems to find a way to continue having a hold over her.

This week, Belle and Lydia (Karen Blick) found a hidden camera inside Dale Head. This was the perfect piece of evidence to show the police and prove Tom had been controlling and watching Belle. At first though, she was reluctant to report her partner again.

After a chat with Lydia, Belle accepted that contacting the police would be the only way to stop Tom from abusing other people, like Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell).

Amelia has refused to accept Belle’s view on Tom but during a chat with Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson) in tonight’s episode, her opinion was changing due to theory Tom killed Piper the dog.

Outside in the village, Amelia was spotted by Tom, who managed to secure her help with getting to Wishing Well.

When Tom arrived, Belle was terrified. She had been waiting there for ages, under the impression Amelia was going to meet her ahead of their visit to the station.

The conversation between Tom and Belle was incredibly tense. Once again, Tom tried to blame Belle for everything that happened, and also tried his luck by saying what they had gone through was just marital problems.

Fortunately, Belle is a lot stronger now than what she was a few months ago. Whenever Tom said something, she stood up for herself in the response. Ultimately, this left Tom a very angry man and during a horrific moment, he took to pushing Belle and beating her.

Belle escaped Wishing Well because she found Sam’s (James Hooton) gun and pointed it at Tom. When she arrived outside though, the panicked Dingle was forced to race through fields and paths as she was chased by Tom.

Belle trapped herself in a barn but even then, it wasn’t enough. Tom smashed some of the wooden panels with an axe and was able to get inside.

Tom got his hands on the gun and pointed it at Belle. With tears streaming down her face, it looked as though she was about to be shot.

However, just as Tom turned, a desperate Belle grabbed the axe and stabbed him in the back.

We left tonight’s episode with Tom on the floor and Belle convinced she has killed him.
