Over the decades we have seen many twisted and savage storylines on Emmerdale. However, something tells us that the upcoming episodes could bring forth a really dark revelation that could leave a couple totally shaken, and viewers completely shocked. Ruby’s mother, Helen, recently breathed her last on the ITV soap.

However, while on her deathbed, Helen Fox was desperate to reconnect with her daughter, Ruby Fox Miligan. Last week, Ruby’s husband Caleb visited Helen, and their conversation made it rather evident that they were on terrible terms. In fact, it appears that at some point in time, Helen had even tried paying Caleb off to stay away from Ruby.

EM/Caleb’s plan to milk money from Helen backfires

Emmerdale spoilers recall that Caleb is so detached from Helen that even in her frail and near-death condition, he demanded  £100k, in exchange for arranging a visit between Helen and her estranged daughter Ruby. However, he mentally kissed the money goodbye when Helen’s nurse informed Ruby that her mother passed away before they ever got a chance to meet.

But, it appears that luck was in Caleb’s favour, as it was revealed that Helen had actually transferred the money to him right before passing. This makes it clear that Helen really was desperate to have a conversation with her daughter. But why? Could there be a secret that she needed Ruby to know? Moreover, could it have had something to do with Caleb? After all, she really was dead against Ruby and Caleb’s marriage.

EM/ Are Ruby and Caleb somehow related?

What if Helen knew that Ruby and Caleb were somehow related by blood? We know he is Frank Tate’s son. Could Ruby too be related to Frank somehow? Well, if that’s the case then it would mean that the husband and wife are actually half-siblings. Holy moly! A revelation like that would really be shattering!
