Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ who Tom King frames in devastating blow for two villagers

Emmerdale fans are convinced they know who Tom King is going to frame two beloved residents - and it's not Belle or Vinnie Dingle

Emmerdale fans reckon they’ve sussed out who wicked Tom King plans to pin the blame on his axe attack – and it’s not Belle or Vinnie Dingle.

The conniving character, played by actor James Chase, has been emotionally tormenting his on-screen wife Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) for months. She recently bared her soul about Tom’s cruelty to her family and gave him the elbow, eager to slip free from his grasp.

However, things went pear-shaped quick when Belle hit Tom with an axe. Belle was all set to confess up to the poilce but her nearest and dearest talked her into keeping quiet.

She was gobsmacked later to find out Tom survived the attack had been carted off to hospital. As the coppers got wind of the incident, they visited Belle to speak to her and the Dingles clan.

Sticking to their guns, the Dingle family claimed they were clueless about Tom’s attack, and just said “glad he’s ok”. After a bit of sleep. Tom asked to have a chat with Belle during the October 1 episode, leading to her sneaking out, reports Leeds Live.

The baddie spun a yarn to Belle, saying he’d keep quiet to the police if she ditched any chat of domestic violence. He spat out, “Stop lying that I’m an abuser and you’re in the clear.” Without missing a beat, she responded, “Okay, I’ll do what you want.”

Having wrangled that promise, Tom later fed the cops a pack of lies, cheekily claiming his ambushers were a couple of blokes, one with a “Leeds accent.”

Now, viewers are convinced that Tom is set to frame two beloved characters, potentially leading to their departure from the village in a shocking prison twist. Fans took to social media to share their theories about how Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Aaron (Danny Miller) could be implicated.

One fan speculated on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page: “My theory of this Tom and Belle story. The 2 men he mentioned that attacked him ( Aaron and Cain) that could be Cain’s leaving story (jail).” Another responded: “I was thinking this when he said it last night.” A third added: “He’s going to try and blame them isn’t he! “.

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
