ITV Emmerdale Amelia’s secret plan against Tom ‘exposed’ – and he should be worried
Emmerdale fans are convinced that Amelia Spencer is going to bring down her abusive boyfriend Tom King after the look on her face during Wednesday's episode
Emmerdale buffs reckon Amelia Spencer has something big planned for Tom King.
Right now, Amelia (played by Daisy Campbell) is all loved-up with the village baddie and notorious abuser Tom King (portrayed by James Chase). Earlier this year, Tom was abusing his wife Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) – and she ended up ditching him.
But Tom’s moved on quick, charming Amelia who’s a whole decade younger. He’s got her wrapped around his little finger, and she’s set on clearing his name. Amelia’s not just fighting his corner; she’s also been keeping her kid Esther from her grandparents Sam (James Hooton) and Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) amid the Belle and Tom feud.
Yet, it looks like Tom’s days of tyranny might be numbered – and it’s all thanks to an unexpected hero. In Wednesday’s episode (October 8), Lydia had a change of heart, letting her granddaughter hang out with Sam and herself, reports the Manchester Evening News.
At the Dingles’, Luka was on a mission to open Amelia’s eyes to Tom’s dodgy dealings, trying to show her he’s nothing but trouble and after revenge on Belle.
Lydia gave Amelia a stark warning: “Until the mask slips and the real Tom comes out, and then you realise you’ve been part of his nasty games, and I worry that you and Esther will be in too deep by then.”
Lydia’s words hit a nerve, leaving Amelia seething. But then, something clicked, and she started to wonder if Lydia was onto something about Tom. Now, the Emmerdale fanatics are buzzing, convinced Amelia’s actually playing a long game to bring Tom down.
On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one viewer vented: “I feel Amelia is on to Tom. Please give him what he deserves!” Another chimed in with: “Did a light pop on behind Amelia’s eyes just then?” And a third added their two cents: “Wishful thinking but I hope so, maybe now she will listen.”
