It’s bad news for Emmerdale fans who were expecting an hour-long instalment of their favourite ITV soap this evening, as it has been pulled from schedules again.

Instead of their daily trip to the Dales this evening, ITV viewers will be able to tune in to the UEFA Nations League which will see England take on Greece.

The football match is set to kick off at 7.45pm, with coverage beginning from 7pm.

The next episode of Emmerdale will air tomorrow, at the usual time of 7.30pm.

It’s been a busy week so far in the Yorkshire Dales, with Tom King (James Chase) still terrorising Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper).

The vile abuser managed to delete evidence that showed his true colours, before cruelly taunting Belle that he was sure to win in court.

Meanwhile, Dawn and Billy Fletcher (Olivia Bromley and Jay Kontzle) were thrilled to be able to bring baby Evan home from hospital, but things grew tense between them when Billy missed the appointment and hid a serious injury from her.

Elsewhere, Laurel and Arthur Thomas’ (Charlotte Bellamy and Alfie Clarke) relationship was in turmoil, but luckily Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) was able to step in and attempt to get them back on track.

Still to come in tomorrow’s episode, John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) proves to be an ally for Billy, but things get more complicated. Will Billy tell Dawn the truth about what he’s been up to?

As Laurel and Arthur continue to navigate their tension, Amelia Spencer’s (Daisy Campbell) dilemma deepens.
