An Emmerdale legend will ‘return from the d.e.a.d’ as another faces life behind bars.
During Thursday's hour-long episode of Emmerdale the village was rocked by the reveal of Nate Robinson's d.e.a.t.h
Emmerdale fans are convinced an Emmerdale legend will return from the d.e.a.d while another faces years behind bars.
During the hour-long Thursday edition of Emmerdale, viewers saw the village rocked as finally Nate Robinson’s d.e.a.t.h was discovered. Cain Dingle being left heartbroken learning his son has been m.u.r.d.e.r.e.d.
Of course, viewers know John Sugden was responsible for Nate’s d.e.a.t.h. Although, Cain was taken down to the police station with the finger of suspicion pointing at him.
Particularly after discovering Cain attacked Nate ahead of him leaving the village to start a new life in Shetland. Cain believed Nate had kissed Moira which led to the assault.
Cain said: “Yes, I hit him. Yes, I disowned him. But I did not k.i.l.l him.”
Nate’s former partner Tracy, mother of Nate’s daughter Frankie, shocked to the core after the revelation of his d.e.a.t.h.
“Nobody mourning him,” she responded, after police informed her they believed Nate had been d.e.a.d for around nine months. “It doesn’t make sense.”
Many Emmerdale fans to X fearing we might soon be saying goodbye to a legend of the ITV soap – with Cain facing a long spell in prison should he be found guilty – even wrongly. One viewer @Lauz_PB wrote: Justice for Cain Dingle #Emmerdale.”
While @teenamassam commented: “Poor Cain, for once he is innocent and he needs to process the news he’s just had about Nate…#Emmerdale.” Another devotee @LauraJeanneH said: “They have no evidence that Cain was involved. Just because he had a fight with Nate. #emmerdale.”
We’ll have to see where the storyline goes. There feels like many twists and turns to come.
Elsewhere, viewers were uncomfortable seeing Eric Pollard struggle with his health deterioration.
After he banished Kerry from his home, she snapped: “Carry on like this, you are going to end up one angry, sad, lonely old man.” Towards the conclusion of the episode, Eric looked longing after photos of deceased former love Val.
We saw @realgmg67 post: “Val Pollard, was the only woman Eric, was scared of. #Emmerdale.” While another viewer @Jesset2s asked: “Will we see Val return from the d.e.a.d in this Eric storyline? #emmerdale.”
