BBC Beyond Paradise exit confirmed for beloved character
Beyond Paradise's emotional final episode aired on Friday night
Beyond Paradise’s final episode was an emotional rollercoaster. Viewers watched Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall) and Martha Lloyd (Sally Bretton) bid a sweet farewell to their foster daughter Rosie (Bella Rei Blue Stevenson).
The emotional journey reached its peak when the couple threw a birthday party for Rosie. The pair invited her school friends to join in the celebrations.
However, the happy event took a bittersweet twist when Humphrey and Martha received the dreaded phone call telling them that Rosie’s biological mother was ready to take her back home.
At first reluctant, Rosie eventually showed mixed feelings of joy and sorrow about going back to her mother, reports Wales Online.
In moving scenes, Martha’s mother, Anne (Barbara Flynn), hugged Rosie and said: “Take care of yourself, won’t you?”
Rosie earnestly replied: “I will, you too.” Martha, engulfed in tears, assured Rosie: “You’re family now. So, if you ever need anything.”
Humphrey said: “Yes, anything at all.” Martha concluded: “We are only a phone call away.”
Rosie, grappling with her emotions, asked: “Is it ok to be happy and sad at the same time?” Martha said: “Of course it is.”
Elsewhere in the episode, there was no shortage of heartbreak, as Esther Williams (Zahra Ahmadi) remained steadfast in her decision about her relationship with Archie (Jamie Bamber), prompting fans to share their sadness on social media.
One viewer expressed their shock on X, writing: “What?? They broke up? Devoed. #BeyondParadise.”
Another fan shared their disappointment, stating: “I really wish Esther wasn’t scared and hadn’t dumped Archie. They were good for each other #BeyondParadise,”.
A third person chimed in with hope for the future: “I’m hoping Archie is going to win her back next ep – they are great together, don’t ruin it.”
