BBC EastEnders: ‘rumble’ who dies in devastating fire as Queen Vic ‘explodes’
EastEnders is reportedly set to air a devastating fire in upcoming episodes that will 'destroy' The Queen Vic and leaves lives on the line on the BBC soap
Viewers of EastEnders have speculated there may be a death looming on the BBC soap after news of a fire.
Reports suggest an explosion will rock The Queen Vic in the near future, leaving lives on the line. Major characters will face death in the blaze which is set to destroy the famous Walford pub.
It’s not yet clear who is caught up in the drama, but given the Carters and the Knights live there fans are expecting they will be caught up in the stunt. Amid speculation over the cause of the fire, some fans think they have worked out who might die.
No death is confirmed but viewers can’t help but feel as someone will die, maybe more than one person, as the show’s 40th anniversary arrives in February. Now, fans think it could be linked to Nish Panesar’s prison escape and his revenge plan.
After he learned his ex-wife Suki Panesar was planning to marry Eve Unwin, the terminally ill character planned “to go nuclear”. He said he would do whatever it takes to stop the wedding and ensure it does not go ahead.
Amid fans fearing for the safety of Suki and Eve, some viewers are wondering if he will start a fire. Might the couple have a wedding reception at the pub, and might Nish blow it up?

Given the rumours months back that a fire would tear through Walford, fans had come up with the theory that this would be Nish’s exit. Now that a fire is reportedly on the cards, fans think he will start the fire and he might die.
There’s fears for his son Ravi Gulati and Vinny Panesar too, as well as his grandson Nugget. Taking to X one fan said: “Okay my prediction for the queen vic fire. Sukeve get hitched & have their wedding reception at the vic.
“Nish wades in & either publicly sets fire or does it in secret. Vic goes up in flames, one of the Panesars (vinny or nugget) perish alongside Nish.” Another theory agreed: “Be the end of Nish.”
Others feared for the Carter family and the Knights. A theory read: “Babe’s curse has truly come full circle. Over the years, the Carters have gradually deteriorated and the fire marks the end!” Another said: “Rest in peace The Knights.”
According to the reports they might not air the fire into February, so it’s whether Nish’s plot will run that long, given the wedding is thought to be sooner than this.
