BBC EastEnders’ Stacey Slater issues update after leaving Walford
EastEnders' Stacey Slater will make contact with Alfie Moon in upcoming scenes of the BBC soap.
EastEnders is set to air an update from Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) following her sudden departure last month, as she reaches out to Alfie Moon (Shane Richie).
In heart-wrenching scenes that aired in May, Stacey had been struggling to cope with life after Martin Fowler’s (James Bye) tragic d.e.a.t.h in February.
However, Stacey was taken aback when her teenage daughter Lily (Lillia Turner) expressed fear that Charli would be taken away from her as she tried to keep the household running smoothly.
This motivated Stacey to leave the house for the first time in weeks, but after a confrontation with her daughter, Lily later announced she was leaving Walford to stay with Ryan.
Stacey also decided to escape Albert Square herself, planning to take Arthur and Hope to stay with Lynne Slater. In next week’s episodes of the BBC soap, Stacey reconnects with her family, reports Belfast Live.
In recent episodes, Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie planned a quick wedding to promote their new limo business that they co-own with Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman).
On Monday (June 16), Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) is left fuming about the press coverage of Alfie and Kat’s business venture, which they share with her unfaithful ex Harvey, as it suggests his new flame Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) is ‘Mrs Monroe’.
Alfie attempts to defuse the situation and persuade Jean, but he is distracted by his phone.
When Harvey also dismisses Jean, she tries to sabotage the limo business until Alfie arrives and again tries to talk her down.
He pledges to support Jean as she grapples with the aftermath of her split from Harvey.
However, Alfie is thrown a curveball when Stacey rings him, but what will she reveal?
Later in the week, Kat grows suspicious that Alfie isn’t being truthful with her after a chat.
She attempts to voice her concerns about their teenage son Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall), who’s been spending time with troublemaker Joel Marshall (Max Murray).
However, things take a turn for the worse for Kat when Alfie informs her that he needs to jet off to Australia to see his younger brother Spencer.
Alfie reveals that Spencer is currently in a state of distress, but will he leave everything behind in Walford and travel halfway across the globe?
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday on BBC One and iPlayer
