It’s official, Beyond Paradise is back for season 3, and the series is bringing stars from our favourite crime dramas along with it.
Ahead of the launch of the latest series, the BBC has revealed first-look images of brand new scenes, including an exciting line up of guest stars. Three much-loved faces – who are no stranger to mysterious and intriguing dramas – will be joining the cast.
Excitingly, Midsommer Murders’ Jason Hughes is onboard for series 2 of the show, although his exact role is yet to be revealed. Hugh Dennis (who appeared in the first series of gripping thriller The Couple Next Door) is also confirmed for the show.
In addition, Caroline Quentin will guest star in the new series and, having been in shows including Jonathon Creek and Blue Murder, will be well versed in the world of crime drama. Whether she’ll be victim, killer or somewhere in between, however, has yet to be revealed.
What will happen in Beyond Paradise series 3?
Beyond Paradise is a spin off of the ever-popular Death in Paradise and, when it launched in 2023, it was the most-watched new drama of the year.
Set in the pretty seaside town of Shipton Abbott, DI Humphrey Goodman (played by Kris Marshall), series 3 will see him investigating more puzzling crimes each episode (featuring a slew of star guests) in the picturesque English town with his reliable team.
