Bianca unveils her shocking plan to Reiss that would save him and Sonia in EastEnders
This article contains spoilers for tonight’s EastEnders, which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on BBC iPlayer.
Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) came up with a cunning plan to free herself in recent EastEnders scenes, but will Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) take the risk and go along with it?
Reiss has been holding Bianca against her will in a storage unit ever since she discovered his m.u.r.d.e.r of wife Debbie last year.
After falling behind in his payments for her care home, Reiss smothered his comatose wife with a pillow.
However, things took a shocking turn when Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) was later arrested for the crime.
With Sonia behind bars, Bianca returned to Albert Square to help in the effort to free her – though things took a terrifying turn when she uncovered Reiss’ true nature.
Unable to bring himself to k.i.l.l her, Reiss promised Bianca that he would free her as soon as Sonia was found not guilty of Debbie’s m.u.r.d.e.r – something that is looking less likely with every day that passes.
In tonight’s episode, Bianca was horrified to learn that Sonia planned to change her plea to guilty, despite being innocent of the crime.
Bianca urged Reiss to come clean, but he refused, before fretting about how he will cope as a single father with Sonia in prison.
After Reiss admitted that he would hand the baby over to social services should Sonia be jailed, Bianca revealed that she had an idea to free Sonia that would also get Reiss off the hook and allow them to raise their child together.
Knowing that Reiss was unlikely to free her unless Sonia was found not guilty, Bianca suggested that she take the rap for the crime by confessing to k.i.l.l.i.n.g Debbie herself.
Will Reiss go along with Bianca’s idea and let her take the fall? And would her false confession be enough to persuade the police of Sonia’s innocence?
