David Wicks (Michael French) got the shock of his life at the end of yesterday’s EastEnders when he found Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) kissing Junior Knight (Micah Balfour).
The returning character was back in town to help Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) with her mental health issues. Once David felt confident Bianca was going to get some help, he announced he needed to leave for business purposes.
Walking through the market, David came across his ex betraying his half brother, with the son of her other ex-husband.

As Junior returned to the pub, David and Cindy made their way to Beale’s Eels to talk about the affair. Inside, David wondered why on earth Cindy would jeopardise her relationship with Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) just to have sex with someone else.
Sorry in advance for this but we heard it, which means you need to read it. Cindy explained to David that she needs sexual passion in her life and Ian doesn’t really give that to her.
Sigh.
She went on to reveal that after she’s had sex with Junior and is laying in bed with him, she’s often reminded of her relationship with Junior’s dad George (Colin Salmon).
David stood up and told Cindy her situation is pretty messed up, even by his standards. After their chat, David decided to return to the pub and tell Ian everything.
When he got there though, David was surprised when Ian opened up about leaving their issues in the past and moving forward. With that, David spoke about second chances, shook his brother’s hand, and left.
While David was saying one final goodbye to Bianca, Cindy was in the toilets telling Junior their affair could no longer continue. He had literally just spoken to George about his feelings for the secret woman he had been sleeping with, and felt hurt when Cindy announced things couldn’t carry on.
Junior walked out after telling Cindy that they’d be back at it (sorry) after a week – but this may not be the case due to a certain Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier).
Freddie left the device on and told Cindy and David not to touch anything. Of course, as conversation turned to Cindy sleeping with just about everyone in Walford, they completely forgot about it.
The device has more than likely picked up David’s conversation with Joe Wicks and his daughter Holly outside, and has definitely picked up his chat with Cindy.
