“Divorce Sisters” First Look: BET+ Drops Teaser Promo, Drama and Chaos Incoming!

It’s crazy how life works—one minute everything is perfect, and the next… you’re married. That’s the vibe we’re getting from BET+’s upcoming series Divorce Sisters, set to premiere on June 10th. The platform just dropped a 25-second teaser promo, and while short, it’s packed with tension, laughs, and just enough messiness to get us hooked.

The teaser kicks off with Rashida, reflecting on how fast life can flip. She tells Geneva, “One minute everything is perfect and then you get married.” Oof. That sets the tone real quick. The next shot seems to take place in a divorce court, where we see Rashida and her soon-to-be ex-husband—played by Devon Franklin—facing off. The tension? Thick.

Geneva continues the convo with Rashida, questioning, “Is this what marriage is?” Yikes. And yes, it looks like RonReaco Lee (yep, Tia’s ex from Sistas) is going to be her new love interest in the show. Cue the sparks.

Then there’s Tiffany, ready to throw herself back into the dating pool, confidently declaring, “I’m ready to get back out there!” Meanwhile, Bridget isn’t holding back with her man—played by Robert Riley—as she bluntly snaps, “You need to get a job.” Drama? Check.

One standout moment comes from Naomi, who sits down with the girls and emotionally confesses, “He took the best years of my life.” From the looks of it, she might be referring to her ex—possibly portrayed by Donovan—who’s seen with a white woman. Based on the teaser, Naomi may not take the breakup lightly. In one quick shot, she’s being apprehended by police, hinting that she may do something reckless out of revenge.

Later, we see Bridget, Geneva, and Rashida staring in stunned silence—likely reacting to Naomi’s arrest or some other explosive twist.

The teaser ends with Rashida confronting Devon Franklin’s character, yelling, “You don’t care about me anymore. You don’t.” The delivery? Heart-wrenching. The drama? Off the charts.

So far, Divorce Sisters looks like it’s serving up a chaotic cocktail of heartbreak, healing, and sisterhood. Though it’s only a brief glimpse, it’s already teasing some heavy emotional arcs, messy relationships, and strong female leads. June 10th can’t come soon enough.

Expect a full trailer within the next two weeks, and the cast may already be doing press. If you catch any new interviews, photos, or clips, hit me up on social media (links in the description), and I’ll break it all down for you.
