EastEnders confirms legend’s fate as star returns in 43 pictures
It’s a big week for Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) in EastEnders next week, as confirmed in my new spoiler pictures, as the jury decide whether she’s guilty – or not guilty – of murder.
Her ‘doting’ fiancé Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) continues to protest her innocence, knowing that she wasn’t responsible for killing his wife Debbie. After all, it was he that smothered her!
Poor Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) is still locked up in his storage container, desperate to find out whether her sister is to be sent down and begs him to confess.
As Sonia makes a last minute decision, Bianca decides to execute her final plan to stop him.
There’s drama for the Knight clan when Elaine (Harriet Thorpe) and George (Colin Salmon) discover something shocking, and decide to question Anna (Molly Rainford) and Gina (Francesca Henry).
The atmosphere soon turns frosty, and George’s relationship with his daughters is strained.
Elsewhere, Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) makes a spectacle when she argues with the councillor in charge of the market redevelopment.
The residents gather at the community centre to see the plans, and he doesn’t get a happy reception.
Plus, there’s new fears for Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) when he advises Nigel Bates (Paul Bradley) that he’d rather stay at home than attend his birthday bash at The Queen Vic.
Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) clocks that Nige is still hiding his dementia diagnosis from his best pal, and asks if he’d like to seek guidance from church.
What will he decide?
EastEnders airs these scenes between Monday 20th and Thursday 23rd January at 7.30pm on BBC iPlayer.
