To celebrate a whopping four decades on air, the show is lining up new romances, d.e.a.t.h, destruction and shock twists plus a jaw-dropping live episode.
Honey and Billy Mitchell’s (Emma Barton and Perry Fenwick) wedding is finally upon us, with their clan banding together to make sure its a success.
Following Grant Mitchell’s (Ross Kemp) long-awaited return, nobody can comprehend just how bad his brother Phil’s (Steve McFadden) mental health is spiralling.
With everyone busy with the nuptials, he forces himself to make a heart-wrenching decision.
Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) gatecrashes the happy day with a huge accusation – she reckons she knows who was responsible for attacking her on Christmas Day, and she wants answers.
When she catches them in a compromising position, she whips out a gun! But has she found the right person?
Also next week, two love triangles reach a head when Martin Fowler (James Bye) and Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) fight their feelings for one another, and Denise Fox (Diane Parish) is forced to make her own decision.
Ex-husband Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), or old flame Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara)?
The power is in your hands for this one, as a public vote will take place on the BBC website.
As Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) and Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) come to terms with recent events, neither of them are aware that twisted Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) is lurking in the shadows and is ready to exact his final act of revenge.
B’ sneaks off home from the wedding and before long, comes face to face with the man who has held her hostage for months. This time, he isn’t getting away with it!
As metaphorical fireworks set off inside No. 25, a further two clashes in the Square spark a horrific series of events… and the Vic goes boom.
The residents quickly spring into action to save those trapped inside of the pub, as Denise spots both Jack and Ravi behaving heroically. For those inside, an escape route isn’t clear and parts of the infrastructure begin to fall around them.
One of the residents confirmed to be facing a life or death situation is Sonia, whose waters break. Ambulances are unable to reach her, and only two traumatised neighbours are on hand to try and deliver her baby girl safely.
Will she make it out alive? Or is someone else about to leave in a body bag?
For one character, this is the end of the road.
EastEnders airs these scenes between Monday, February 17th and Thursday, February 20th.
