Questions are asked and secrets are uncovered in EastEnders next week, as confirmed in my new spoiler pictures, with big discoveries made and a return we’ve all been waiting for.
The comeback in question is none other than Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy), who is seen on-screen for the first time in almost six months.
The much-loved Walford mainstay, who is behind bars for the m.u.r.d.er of Reiss Colwell’s (Jonny Freeman) wife Debbie – a crime Reiss himself committed – receives a visit from the killer himself.
She begs Reiss to help prove her innocence and asks him to ensure that Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) is there to support her during the trial. Bianca, as viewers know, is currently being held prisoner by Reiss, so just how will he talk his way out of this one?
That remains to be seen but, when Sonia arrives at court, she is devastated to see that neither Reiss nor Bianca are present.
Elsewhere, things continue to heat up for Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) as they meet in secret.
Raymond’s birthday party takes place at Walford East and Ravi struggles to hide his jealousy as Jack Banning (Scott Maslen) spends time with Denise.
Away from prying eyes, Ravi and Denise steal a moment together – but their moment of passion is scuppered when they’re caught kissing by Nugget!
Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), meanwhile, wakes up and is horrified to learn from the police that she was likely attacked by someone who knows her.
But who will find themselves in the firing line and in danger of being arrested?
It’s going to be quite a week!
