EastEnders fans all say the same thing as Cindy Beale makes dramatic return to Walford
Cindy Beale made a dramatic return to Albert Square during Lauren and Peter's engagement party during Monday's episode of EastEnders - and fans are all saying the same thing
EastEnders aired the return of Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) during Monday night’s episode as she made a surprise return during Peter Beale and Lauren Branning’s engagement party.
Throughout the episode, Peter was acting suspicious as he kept heading off to answer his phone. After their final check up with the midwife, Peter and Lauren headed off to Harry’s Barn for their party, where they were greeted by a surprise guest.
As George raised a toast to Lauren and Peter, as well as the whole family, Cindy was seen entering the bar, as she said: “Don’t tell me I missed the party.”
It comes as no surprise that no one was happy to see Cindy back, and it looks like fans share the same feelings. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “Why is cindy back? It’s her fault Martin is dead!” while a second said: “Was hoping for a Max Branning return but got Cindy instead!!”
“Haha What a song for Cindy to walk in with “Don’t , don’t You want Me”. . #EastEnders,” laughed a third. “Cindy…. well, I’m not excited to see her back but we’ll see!” agreed a fourth.
However, some were overjoyed to see the character back on our screens, as one tweeted: “HAPPY CINDY BEALE DAY TO THOSE WHO CELEBRATE!!”
From her exit scenes earlier this year, it looks like Cindy could be back for revenge on Kathy and Ian, after previously finding out Kathy was the one who hit her over the head with a shovel on Christmas Day. However, Ian paid her money to leave Walford, threatening that he’d tell everyone she pushed him infront of Reiss’ car, causing the deadly explosion in the Vic.
