EastEnders fans ‘rumble who d.i.e.s’ in New Year wedding horror as Nish plots revenge
EastEnders fans have been teased for weeks about a dramatic set of episodes this New Year, as Suki Panesar and Eve Unwin's wedding is targeted by Nish Panesar on the BBC soap
Fans are convinced a huge d.e.a.t.h is looming on EastEnders after some major hints recently.
Now, viewers think they’ve worked out who dies as Suki Panesar and Eve Unwin’s wedding on New Year’s Day looks set to be dramatic. Soap boss Chris Clenshaw confessed his “heart was in his mouth” when he previewed the episodes recently, ahead of them airing.
Suki and Eve are set to wed in the New Year’s Day episode, and in recent weeks directors involved in the shoot have teased it’s huge and unmissable. Now, amid Nish Panesar vowing to stop the wedding from going ahead, things have taken a deadly turn.
Terminally ill Nish escaped prison recently, and vowed to ruin Suki and Eve’s happiness. In the latest episode on Tuesday night he was seen receiving a parcel that looked pretty sinister.
A taxi booking he then made certainly revealed he had something dark up his sleeve. Nish had tried to harm Eve, planning on getting her alone in one last attempt to stop the ceremony and tear Eve and Suki apart.
When this failed he headed home before asking his dodgy doctor for a favour. The parcel he received contained an item that looked like a small glass bottle.

It wasn’t entirely clear what it was but viewers were convinced it was some sort of poisonous liquid. Nish then booked a taxi and said he would not need a return trip.
So with Nish planning to show up at the wedding, is he planning on killing Suki or Eve or both of them? Could someone else get caught in the crossfire?
Viewers are convinced the episode, said to be Nish’s final act, will be the moment he d.i.e.s. Whether he plans to or not, fans think he will end up causing his own death and that this will be his exit.
The decision not to book a return trip could be him realising he will likely get caught, or his heart issues might k.i.l.l him. But what if it’s actually a major hint by the show that there will be no more Nish after the episode?
One viewer said on X: “I’m convinced something bad happens to Eve or Nish finally d.i.e.s. Suki Eve & Nish are not mentioned in spoilers beyond 6th Jan 2025.” Another fan said of what they wanted to happen: “Eve working out Nish’s plan giving him the poison and watching him d.i.e,” as a third fan posted: “Obviously Nish will d.i.e on NYE/NYD.”
