EastEnders icon Lacey Turner’s two actress sisters who you may recognise
Lacey Turner has portrayed Stacey Slater in EastEnders since 2004, and her two siblings are also no strangers to soap land.
Stacey Slater has become an absolute legend on EastEnders, captivating audiences with her dramatic storylines since she first set foot in Walford in 2004.
The talented Lacey Turner, aged 37, brings Stacey to life and has scooped up numerous accolades for her performance, including Inside Soap Awards and National Television Awards.
When she’s not stirring up drama in Albert Square, Lacey juggles motherhood with three little ones, having welcomed her latest addition with hubby Matt this past January.
Lacey hails from a family brimming with talent; her sisters Lily and Daisy are also familiar faces in the acting scene. Let’s delve into their stories….
Who is Lily Turner?
At just 25, Lily is the baby of the Turner clan and has followed in her big sister’s footsteps into acting, reports Plymouth Live.
In 2010, while Lacey took a brief hiatus from EastEnders, Lily stepped onto the scene as Shenice Quinn, the daughter of Kat’s friend Martine.
A young star at nine years old when she landed the role, Lily portrayed Shenice until 2012.
Bryan Kirkwood, the former executive producer for EastEnders, confessed he was clueless about Lily’s connection to Lacey during her audition.
He shared his surprise: “Whether by accident or design I sat down and watched a
tape of a very talented young girl. And it was only after we decided that I was told it was Lacey’s sister. So it was complete accident.”
Lily, who often goes by the surname Harvey, seems to have stepped away from acting following her stint on EastEnders.
Her current occupation remains a mystery, but her Instagram is filled with travel photos and links to her Youtube and TikTok accounts.
She occasionally pops up on Lacey’s social media, with the sisters having attended the National Soap Awards together in 2022.
“About last night… Me and my beaut lil sis. Thank you to the one and only @kymmullem for the waves,” Lacey captioned a gorgeous photo of the duo.
Who is Daisy Turner?
In 2011, Lacey’s sister Daisy made her entrance into the soap world with a role in Hollyoaks, playing the character Jenny Houston.
Reflecting on her acting journey, Daisy, who was 20 when she joined the Channel 4 show, said: “All three of us do it. Lacey and I acted as kids. Our mum, Bev, let us do everything – singing, dancing and acting.
“I was at home with my mum and sisters when I got the call to say I’d got the part. Lacey said if I need her, she is there. I suppose there is a bit of pressure because she is very good at what she does. She has done it for years and I am just starting out.”
However, Daisy’s time on Hollyoaks was brief, as her character Jenny met a tragic end at the hands of Silas, marking the climax of a long-running storyline on the soap.
Now 34, Daisy appears to have left acting behind, and her current profession remains unknown.
