EastEnders’ Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) saw red as Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) hit her with a shock accusation on Tuesday, putting the sisters at war.
The pair have both been through the mill in recent months due to the actions of twisted k.i.l.l.e.r Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman).
After Reiss smothered his comatose wife Debbie to d.e.a.t.h last year, he let fiancée Sonia take the fall for her murder, and held Bianca hostage when she later uncovered the truth.
Both Sonia and Bianca then saw Reiss d.i.e before their very eyes when a bathtub fell on him in the aftermath of the Queen Vic explosion last month – just as Sonia was going into labour with their baby.
In the days since, Bianca has been struggling to process her recent trauma and has started to suffer from panic attacks and agrophobia.
Having kept this a secret from her sister, Sonia was angry with Bianca on Tuesday when she failed to pick her up from the hospital, where she had been visiting her newborn daughter Julia.
Bianca’s best mate Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) encouraged her to try and open up to Sonia about what she is going through, explaining she would perhaps then be a little more understanding.
But things did not go to plan when Bianca later tried to confide in Sonia – in fact, far from it.
A dismissive Sonia shut her sister down, insisting they both needed to move on with their lives, which only escalated tensions between the siblings.
As a row ensued, Bianca argued that she told Sonia Reiss was a wrong’un and that her desperation to be loved and have a baby nearly caused Bianca to d.i.e.
After she then accused Sonia of being to blame for ‘everything’ that’s happened, Sonia angrily slapped Bianca and stormed out of the house.
With her sister’s turning her back on her – for now at least – it is another event later this week that will force Bianca to finally face her fears…
