EastEnders’ Matt Lapinskas marries long-term partner as he shares touching message
Former EastEnders star Matt Lapinskas has revealed he's married his longterm partner, fellow actress Karina Hind over a year after the pair got engaged to one another
A former EastEnders star has married his fiancé. Actor Matt Lapinskas who appeared on the BBC One soap opera between 2011 and 2012 as Anthony Moon took to social media on Monday to reveal he was hours away from saying “I do”.
The actor, 36, who went on to play Alex Ramsdan in the Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks revealed that he and actress Karina Hind would be walking down the aisle today as he shared a touching message to his partner. Just hours later, Matt took to his Instagram Stories to share pictures taken at his wedding reception.
Matt looked dapper as he wore a black triple breasted suit with statement gold buttons as he swept his jet black hair into a sleek quiff. Meanwhile, Karina looked beautiful in a figure-hugging white dress which featured a very daring split up her thigh as her veil blew in the wind behind her.

Shortly after their reception, Matt swapped his black suit for something which echoed Karina’s outfit. The actor was seen in an all-white suit as the newly weds took to the dance floor to celebrate their first dance. Before their big day, Matt described Karina who has appeared in American Idiot UK Tour and Matilda The Musical as his “best friend.”
Sharing a string of images of the couple, Matt gushed: “Tomorrow I get to marry my best friend! My past my present and my future, I will be so proud to say ‘I do’ you have taught me what love truly is. I love you! Can’t wait to celebrate with all those we love bring on the party. @karinahind let’s do this see you tomorrow future Mrs Lapinskas.” He went on to add: “#marriage #weddingday #love #wife #future.”

Matt’s celebrity friends instantly rushed to the comment section, with BBC Breakfast sports presenter Gavin Ramjaun saying: “Big love to you both my dear bro. Wishing you both an incredible day.” Fellow actor Pearce Barron added: “Such gorgeous photos, cannot wait to celebrate u both tomorrow.” EastEnders legend Nina Wadia who played Zainab Masood penned: “Can’t wait to see you on your most excellent and special day tomorrow!!!”
West End star Maggie Lynne gushed: “Ahhhhhhh so so excited for you my friend! I hope you both have the most magical day.” Meanwhile one fan commented: “Ahhh how gorgeous! Hope you have the most incredible day. We will be thinking of you both Mr & Mrs Lapinskas.”
Matt, who competed on Dancing On Ice back in 2013 made his proposal extra special when he got down on one knee during an evening walk in 2024. The pair had been in Dubai making the most of the warmer climates of the United Arab Emirates when he pulled out a romantic letter to his then girlfriend.

Stunned by the move, Karina placed her hands over her face. Karina went on to share Matt’s letter in the caption of her post after agreeing to marry her partner. It read: “Karina… Since the day we met, you have brought love and laughter into my life, you are everything I could have dreamed of, life with you is pure and joyful, the memories we have created and will keep on creating will always be fun and full of happiness, I love the feeling and the butterflies I get when I see you smiling!
“They say love conquers all and with you I feel like I have conquered the world! You make me the happiest I have ever been, and there is no one in this world I would want to share the rest of my life with than you!
“I tell you to chase your dreams and seize the moment so that’s exactly what I’m doing.” She later added: “I love you @mattlapinskas. I love you more than you will ever know. Forever and always xxx my love… My best friend…My forever…”
