EastEnders’ Phil to cause concern in Christmas loneliness plot
Can Sharon get through to him?
EastEnders spoilers follow.
EastEnders‘ Sharon Watts is set to become concerned about Phil Mitchell as his loneliness storyline continues over Christmas.
Phil burned bridges with his friends and family over the summer, and has been living in squalor. He also recently learned that his ex Sharon is currently seeing his cousin Teddy, while Teddy’s evil ex, Nicola, tried to get Phil to start drinking again.
In scenes set to air from Christmas Eve to Boxing Day, Nicola is once again very jealous at Sharon and Teddy’s public displays of affection, while Phil continues to shut the world out.
On Christmas Day, Sharon heads to Phil’s to give him his present from their son Albie, but she can tell that he’s not himself. He then joins the family for Christmas Dinner, but things are awkward, and he abruptly leaves after seeing Sharon and Teddy sharing a moment together.
Sharon heads over to Phil’s again to talk to him, but he continues to shut her out. Sharon decides to share her concerns with an unlikely ally, but who?
It has been reported that Phil will experience some incredibly dark thoughts over the festive season, and there have also been rumours that Grant might be making a brief return…
