EastEnders’ Reiss Colwell sinks to terrifying new low as he scrambles to cover up vile crimes
He thinks there is no other way forward other than her d.e.a.t.h
EASTENDERS’ Reiss Colwell has sunk to a terrifying new low on tonight’s episode as he scrambled to cover up his vile crimes.
Although Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) was found not guilty by the jury for the murder of his wife Debbie, she still has plenty of questions.
Back at number 25 Albert Square, the pregnant nurse struggled to watch her sister Bianca’s (Patsy Palmer) confession video.
Little does she know that Bianca is imprisoned in a remote lockup at the hands of her fiance Reiss (Jonny Freeman).
Bianca came up with the idea to confess to murdering Reiss’ comatose wife Debbie, in a bid to get Sonia out of prison.
But she only recorded the clip in the hope of finally escaping his clutches as Reiss kidnapped her when she started to figure out his crimes.
In EastEnders, Sonia noticed that the video seems strange and that her sister does not seem like her usual self.
Later the police arrived at her home as they informed her that the CPS had reviewed the footage and intend to press charges.
Reiss fumbled in the kitchen as he heard that the forces have issued a warrant for Bianca’s arrest and have deployed an extensive team to find her.
As Sonia was determined to find answers, Reiss completely panicked and he then made his way over to the soundproof storage unit.
A very weak and malnourished Bianca was found to be lying on the sofa as Reiss initially gave her a leftover sandwich.
However, he soon resorted to desperate measures as he started to realise that the warrant means that their days are numbered.
He thinks the only way he can get out of his situation is if Bianca were to be eliminated from the picture and to die.
When he next returns to the lock up, to Bianca’s dismay he gave her a bottle of p.i.l.l.s.
Reiss then suggested that she commits suicide via an overdose, saying it’s the only way forward.
Reiss stated: “Your plan, it worked too well. The CPS have issued a warrant for your arrest. The police are looking for you,”
“What will happen if Sonia confronted you?”, he then asked.
Bianca promised that she wouldn’t tell Sonia or the police about him if he was to let her go.
But Reiss then explained: “Well, you’ve got to see I can’t take that chance.”
“I think, you know, if you were to take these all at once, it will be less painful, to help you.
He added: “Like I said, I wish it didn’t have to come to this. But I’ve got no option… it’s best for Sonia, I’m so sorry.”
“There’s no other way, you’re too much of a loose thread.”
Bianca threw the p.i.l.l.s at the door in anger, determined not to follow through with Reiss’ plan.
EastEnders continues on BBC One and is available to stream on iPlayer.
