EastEnders Reiss Colwell’s m.u.r.d.e.r at the hands of unlikely Walford resident ‘revealed’

EastEnders fans are speculating that Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) is on the brink of being m.u.r.d.e.r.e.d as his web of lies unravels in a fresh revenge storyline. As regular viewers of the BBC One soap will recall, the corrupt accountant took the life of his comatose wife Debbie last year to ease his financial woes.
Prior to committing the heinous act, Reiss had already depleted Debbie’s savings to finance IVF treatment with his new flame Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy). However, following a police probe, it was Sonia who found herself accused of m.u.r.d.e.r and has been held on remand ever since – all while expecting a baby.
Meanwhile, Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) endeavoured to establish her sister Sonia’s innocence and subsequently discovered that Reiss was responsible for his wife’s d.e.a.t.h. She agreed to give Reiss a head start to flee before handing over evidence to the authorities, but he duped Bianca into a lock-up where she has been held captive ever since.
After weeks of confinement, Bianca also made an appearance as Reiss continues to keep her imprisoned until the trial concludes, reports the Manchester Evening News.
On Tuesday (January 14), Reiss made a rash move and attempted to intimidate a witness at the care home where he k.i.l.l.e.d Debbie, potentially jeopardising Sonia’s court trial.
EastEnders aficionados reckon they’ve sussed out the climax of Reiss’ villainous spree with many foreseeing Martin Fowler delivering retribution.
On social platform X, a fan speculated: “I’m calling it now, Martin is gonna k.i.l.l Reiss when all is found out about Bianca and Sonia #EastEnders @bbceastenders.”
Another voiced their exasperation: “I’m sick of looking at Reiss’ face. I hope he has one of the most horrible d.e.a.t.h.s in #EastEnders history.”
