EastEnders reveals worrying new Whitney Dean twist as Nicola takes action
EastEnders have confirmed a worrying new twist for former character Whitney Dean as her ex Zack Hudson takes action after threats from villainous matriach Nicola Mitchell
Spoilers show a dramatic week in EastEnders next week – and there’s a mention of former character Whitney Dean. However, it’s not good news.
Whitney was seen leaving the Square after finding out at the alter that her husband-to-be Zack Hudson had slept with her best friend Lauren Branning. It was then revealed she had moved to Wakefield to live with her brother Ryan.
Since Whitney left Walford, it’s been a difficult time for Zack. As well as finding out that he was Barney Mitchell’s dad, he also lost his best friend Martin Fowler, who d.i.e.d during the devastating Queen Vic explosion.
Despite never meeting on screen, it seems like nothing gets past Nicola Mitchell, as she’s now sending threats to Whitney. Previously, Nicola had Zack beaten black and blue to keep him from revealing the fact he was Barney’s father. Now, she’s gone one step further, spoilers reveal.
Next week, Zack gets word from Whitney that she’s found a safe place for her and the girls to live, somewhere Nicola won’t find them. As the two have seemingly never met, it suggests Nicola may have gone one step further to get at Zack, by threatening Whitney.
Vicki Fowler then suggests Zack goes to visit them to put some space between himself and the Mitchells.
However, things take a turn when Zack later bumps into Barney and finds out he’s struggling with his feelings of isolation from his family. Zack then tells tells Vicki he’s going to see Whitney and the girls, and he’s taking Barney with him. His plan starts to worry Vicki, but will he go through with it?
Elsewhere next week, it’s set to be an emotional one for the Slaters as Stacey continues to struggle with the d.e.a.t.h of Martin and refuses to leave her bedroom. Her daughter Lily Slater tries to cover up what’s going on despite things taking their toll, but soon Stacey’s loved ones find out.
Kat Slater is then left worried by what she uncovers as she enters the house, and she tries to take action by calling a family meeting.
The family are then left questioning whether she needs professional help – as Kat and Lily worry that she’s experiencing a bipolar episode.
