EastEnders Ross’ real intentions for Vicki ‘rumbled’ and she has no idea
EastEnders newcomer Ross could be using his partner Vicki Fowler according to new spoilers amid a money twist, with it teased he's hiding something from her on the BBC soap
There could be another twist on the way for EastEnders newcomer Ross according to new spoilers.
The character debuted this week as the new partner of Vicki Fowler, who returned to Walford after decades away. It emerged she and Ross had an affair causing her split from Spencer Moon.
But the shocks didn’t end there, and at the end of Tuesday’s episode we saw Ross and Vicki discussing some money they wanted to get their hands on. Ross made it clear he wanted Vicki to lie to Sharon to get her cash, but Vicki wasn’t keen.
It sounded like they were in trouble and owed someone money, or needed some cash desperately for a secret reason. Ross made it clear that this is why they had headed to Walford to get the money, while nothing was said about what it was for.
What was suggested was that they needed cash fast and were planning on leaving within days, and that Vicki would need to lie to Sharon to get her hands on it. Amid viewers believing the pair are in big trouble, new spoilers have hinted that all might not be what it seems.
In new teasers focusing on Ross in next week’s episodes, he has a plan up his sleeve that Vicki seemingly has no idea about. It appears he has a mystery reason for wanting to be in Walford himself, and it’s not to do with Martin Fowler’s d.e.a.t.h or the money.
In fact he works on Vicki who is ready to go back to Australia, desperately trying to convince her to stay for longer. Something seems to happen that makes Ross decide to stay there and not return home with Vicki and his son Joel.
When Vicki rejects the offer and tries to leave Walford, Ross goes to desperate lengths to prevent this. So what is he up to, and does this mean he has a real agenda about being in Albert Square, and possibly being with Vicki?
After all his only known link to Walford is Vicki, so might he be using her for some reason? Spoilers reveal that Ross is trying to make amends with residents he’s upset since his arrival and it’s not going well.
Despite this he’s suddenly eager for the family to stay put. He takes a mysterious phone call from an unknown person, and suddenly he makes it his mission to convince Vicki they need to stay in Walford for longer than they planned.
He’s said to be hellbent on keeping her there and when he struggles to do this he begins manipulating her loved ones, trying to get them to make Vicki stay. He suggests her brother Mark Fowler Jr should be the one to look after their mother Michelle Fowler, and soon Vicki gets a call that seems to allude that Ross’ plan has worked.
So why is Ross desperate to keep Vicki away from home, and why is he so keen to stick around in Walford – a place he seemingly hasn’t been before? Does this mean he’s using Vicki amid his plan to get his hands on cash?
