EastEnders Sharon pregnancy bombshell ‘exposed’ – as fans ‘work out’ paternity twist
EastEnders fans are convinced Sharon Watts' is set to become the centre of a jaw-dropping pregnancy storyline after she slept with her ex Grant Mitchell, the cousin of her partner Teddy Mitchell
EastEnders viewers are speculating that Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) may find herself expecting in forthcoming episodes, but with a significant DNA twist suggesting Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) is not the dad.
During Wednesday’s episode (February 26) of the popular BBC One soap, Sharon was unfaithful to Teddy, rekindling her relationship with former spouse Grant Mitchell, played by Ross Kemp, who happens to be Teddy’s cousin.
On the day she was discharged from hospital following the terrifying Queen Vic explosion, Sharon found herself locking lips with Grant in her kitchen. Mourning the loss of Martin Fowler, played by James Bye, Sharon sought solace and found it in Grant when he paid her a visit.
Their laughter continued as Grant swept Sharon off her feet, leading to a lengthy and passionate kiss. The scene then shifted to Sharon’s boyfriend Teddy, waiting for her at Martin’s vigil drinks.
As Sharon and Grant’s encounter heated up, with Grant removing his jacket mid-kiss, viewers are suspecting that Sharon might end up pregnant with Grant’s child, reports Plymouth Live.
On the social media platform X, previously known as Twitter, one viewer speculated: “Sharon is going to get pregnant off Grant isn’t she. I can see it coming.”
Echoing the sentiment, another fan commented: “I swear if Sharon gets pregnant at like 56 via Grant I actually won’t be able to cope. I’m sorry but that ship has SAILED! Ur about 10 years too late Chris Clenshaw.”
Another chimed in with their prediction, “Sharon will get pregnant off Grant – just like she did off Keanu/ Phil in 2019/20. Clenshaw loves nostalgia and this could be what pulls Grant back to Walford for good.”
A fourth individual weighed in on the potential plot twist: “Sharon is going to regret what she’s just done – she’s grieving and isn’t thinking straight. I hope she doesn’t become pregnant with Grant’s baby just like with Phil. Teddy is going to go ballistic when he finds out especially when he discovers Barney is Zack’s son too.”
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One and available to stream on BBC iPlayer from 6am
