EastEnders shifted for major film in BBC Easter schedule shake-up

BBC schedule changes bring unexpected change for EastEnders fans tonight as the London-based soap is brought forward.
Viewers tuning in to catch up on the latest goings-on in Walford at the usual time of 7.30pm will be in for a nasty surprise, as this evening’s instalment will have already finished.
The BBC soap is set to air at the much earlier time of 6.50pm tonight.
It will be followed by an Easter bank holiday showing of the movie Disney movie Dumbo at 7.20pm.
What’s happening in tonight’s EastEnders?
The residents of Albert Square are set to immerse themselves in Easter celebrations as the local Easter egg hunt gets underway in tonight’s episode.
Unfortunately, it isn’t all joyous, as Nigel Bates’ (Paul Bradley) dementia leaves locals asking questions after an unfortunate incident.
After Nigel’s diagnosis is revealed, Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) accidentally makes the devastating discovery that Nigel intends to end his own life if his memory continues to deteriorate.
Elsewhere, Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) and Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) attempt to get their business idea off the ground, but when Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) overhears, it takes some convincing to get her on board.
She’s left even more horrified when she learns that the site location is in the same spot that Shireen’s body is buried!
Meanwhile, Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) tries her hardest to get Avani Nandra- Hart (Aaliyah James) to socialise with her friends, eventually getting her to agree to have lunch with Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman).
EastEnders returns to its usual scheduled timeslot tomorrow for the rest of the week, airing at 7.30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
