EastEnders twist as Cindy Beale’s scheme leaves Kojo’s life hanging in the balance
EastEnders fans are convinced that a tragic death could be on the cards in the BBC soap after a devastating twist which saw Kojo Gyamfi fall from a fire escape
Tuesday’s episode of EastEnders (November 26) was a rollercoaster ride, with Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) latest scheme leaving one character’s fate hanging in the balance. Fans are now speculating that a funeral might be imminent.
The drama in Walford began with George Knight (Colin Salmon) and Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) mulling over their recent disagreement and the uncertainty surrounding their upcoming nuptials.
Cindy’s attempt to seduce her ex-husband George at Elaine’s behest left the groom-to-be bewildered. However, Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) intervened, persuading his father not to let go of a good woman because of past issues.
After a heartwarming ceremony, the residents of the Square gathered at The Queen Vic to toast the newlyweds. As Elaine turned up the music, the pub became too noisy for Kojo (Dayo Koleosho), who stepped outside for some peace and quiet, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Meanwhile, Cindy was feeling downcast as George moved on with his life and sought comfort in Junior.
In the Beales’ kitchen, the pair discussed their affair, with Junior labelling Cindy as a toxic woman who, despite her efforts, always has a dark side and is constantly seeking the next thrill. The conversation ended with Cindy and Junior sharing a kiss, agreeing to continue their clandestine relationship.
Junior legged it back to the wedding bash after planting a smacker on Cindy outside her gaff, clueless that Kojo saw them.
Kojo laid it on thick to Cindy, saying “he didn’t like it, and I don’t like you”, before legging it up a fire escape. Cindy wasnt letting him off easy though she chased after Kojo, spinning him a yarn as she went.
But the drama cranked up when Kojo had a scuffle with Cindy and in a wild dash to scarper, he took a nasty spill over the railings, ending up out cold on the deck as the credits rolled.
EastEnders fans are now convinced Kojo’s carked it, fearing a gut-wrenching exit for the lad.
On X one viewer posted: “Don’t tell me the funeral that got leaked a while ago is for KOJO? ! ! ! I’ll actually be devastated #eastenders.”
Another said: “Omgggg poor Kojo #EastEnders”, and someone else chipped in: “KILL OFF KOJO AND YOUR CANCELED EASTENDERS #EastEnders.”
One fan begged: “Tell me you haven’t killed Kojo off #Eastenders”, and another added: “Oh no, not Kojo.”
