EastEnders villain Nish vows revenge as he escapes prison as fans ‘rumble twist’
EastEnders viewers are convinced there's something else being hidden by evil Nish Panesar on the BBC soap, as the latest episode saw him escape prison and plan revenge
Viewers saw a major EastEnders twist tease drama and danger ahead on Wednesday night, as Nish Panesar escaped prison.
Ahead of ex Suki Panesar and the others being rocked with the news Nish is out and on the run, the closing moments of the latest episode saw him helped to flee. After faking he was hours from death amid his terminal illness, he was able to orchestrate an escape.
With him said to be seriously ill, helped by a doctor he had paid a lot of money to, Nish was being transported by ambulance to a hospice. But during the trip a car swerved in front of the vehicle and stopped it.
Two armed men got out and pointed guns at the paramedic driving the ambulance, before telling the police guards in the back with Nish to step out. With that Nish got out of the bed and prepared to flee, moments after he’d told the doctor he was about to go “nuclear”.
Discovering Suki’s plans to marry Eve Unwin were back on, he’d confronted her and faked he was on his deathbed to try and derail it all. When that didn’t work, Nish turned to his family to try and get them to make Suki halt the plans, after she’d initially agreed to his request that she would not remarry.
He even told son Ravi Gulati to do whatever it took to stop it from going ahead. With Ravi against him things took a turn, and Nish screamed it was time to go “nuclear”.

ÂWith a clear revenge plan in mind, he somehow managed to organise his ambulance being targeted. The two men helped Nish with him now set to flee and remain on the run.
But with it clear what he’s after and Eve and Suki’s wedding looming, could there be disaster ahead? Nish is evil and has killed before, while he also tried to have Eve killed a year ago.
He’s been violent towards Suki and his own son Vinny too, trying to kill him recently. We know how far he would go and that he has no loyalty, so with him determined to ensure the wedding doesn’t go ahead, what exactly is he up to?
With Nish now out of prison he could be a loose cannon, especially with him having help too. So will he go through with his sinister revenge plan, and are the Panesars and Eve in grave danger?
The episodes showed Nish lying about how sick he was, and now some fans believe they’ve worked out another lie. While we saw Nish diagnosed with a virus that damaged his heart, leaving him terminally ill, earlier this year, fans are still unconvinced.
Could he be lying about his illness, and might he not actually be dying? One viewer theorised: “Has Nish lied about the whole heart thing to manipulate them or is he just lying about dying right now?” Another said: “I’m starting to think he’s not even d.y.i.n.g!!
