Emmerdale airs wedding twist as a body is dredged up – and spoilers reveal panic for Ruby and Cain next week
Cain and Ruby are thrown into a panic
Aconflicted Aaron Dingle made his decision in Emmerdale tonight (Friday, May 30), returning to his wedding as the police hauled chaotic Robert Sugden back to prison – while workers dredged a body up from the lake.
With Aaron’s mind made up and Robert back behind bars following his surprise return, the stage was set for John’s happily ever after… only for a certain body to re-emerge from the local lake.

As Chas ushered Kyle inside, Cain, Ruby and Caleb immediately began catastrophising, assuming that it was Anthony’s body. But who’s in the lake? And what will a terrified Ruby do next?
