Emmerdale baby twist ‘sealed’ for Cain Dingle – and Moira isn’t the mum
Emmerdale viewers think another affair is on the cards for Cain Dingle
Emmerdale viewers are convinced Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson) are set to have another child following the birth of their son Kyle (Huey Quinn) in 2011.
In recent episodes, Amy wants to expand her family after helping to look after young Frankie Robinson. Spending time with Frankie made Amy long for a child of her own with her husband Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano), and her feelings didn’t go unnoticed.
Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) encouraged her daughter-in-law to speak to her husband Matty. In a bid to share her exciting family plans, Amy took him on a visit to Dale View and confirmed she plans to rent the house from Kim Tate (Claire King).
An enthusiastic Amy then suggested to Matty that they could move in and start a family. However, Matty was taken aback, leaving Amy disheartened.
Later, Matty, who is a trans man, shared his concerns with stepfather Cain who reassured him that he would make a great dad, as the pair shared a heart-warming scenes.
Cain already shares his son with Amy, and is also the father to Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) and Isaac Dingle (Bobby Dunsmuir).
Emmerdale fans are now suggesting Cain is going to father another child with Amy as viewers hope she doesn’t break up with Matty.
Taking to X, one person said: “Is Matty going to ask Cain to impregnate Amy again. #Emmerdale”. A second suggested: “Who will be the sperm donor? Cain again? #Emmerdale.”
A third added: “I didn’t watch #Emmerdale tonight, but the Cain and Matty scene I just watched was really nice to see, Matty looking to his step dad for advice.”
“Take it Amy needs a sperm donor or an affair to have a baby. #Emmerdale”, added another.
Over on Facebook some fans are hoping Amy and Matty do not break-up as they appear to be on different pages with future plans.
One person urged: “I hope they don’t split Amy and Matty up,” and predictions floating around such as: “They will probably get her to cheat.”
Another viewer recalled past surprises from the soap, stating: “I didn’t think Cain would cheat and he did so you’re probably right!”.
Will Matty agree to Amy on plans for the future? Emmerdale fans will have to wait and see.
