Fans of Emmerdale have predicted that Clemmie will attack Joe Tate over his affair with her mum, Dawn. Billy and Dawn broke the news to the kids last night (Wednesday, April 23) that they’d broken up after he clashed with Ross – accusing him of an affair.
Ross managed to clear his name, but that doesn’t make Billy’s accusation any less true. And it’s only a matter of time before the truth comes out. But how might Billy and the kids take the news of Joe’s culpability for their breakup?

Between his affair with Dawn and his theft of Caleb’s kidney, Joe is harboring some terrible secrets. In addition to the kidney theft itself, he also spiked Noah, leading to the limo crash and death of three women.
With Dawn already fretting that Billy might kill Joe if he found out about the affair, a reckoning is on the cards. And, with viewers predicting that the soap is heading for a whodunnit-style attack on Joe, some have already earmarked the prime suspect.

Writing on Reddit as recent scenes aired, fans wondered whether Clemmie might be responsible for an attack on Joe.
“Could be one of the kids, like Bobby in Eastenders. Maybe Clemmie lashes out because Joe is breaking up her new family. We can then have months of Billy and Dawn looking dodgy and having suspicious conversations before we find out they’re trying to protect their child,” wrote one fan.
“I can’t see Clemmie deliberately killing Joe, but lashing out so that he falls downstairs or something?” asked another.
“If this happens, John will almost certainly be used as a red herring. They’ll play it to make you think he killed Joe because him knowing about Anthony could be dangerous for John, but it won’t actually be him in the end,” a third predicted.
“I think Clemmie will make Evan sick and also see Joe with Dawn, then target Joe for revenge,” said a fourth.
