Emmerdale confirms another d.e.a.t.h as star k.i.l.l.e.d off after 17 years in heartbreaking scenes
Emmerdale has confirmed the fate of another major character as they have bowed out of the ITV soap after 17 years.

Emmerdale has confirmed the fate of one huge character as the limo crash claims another life.
Early release of Emmerdale on ITVX has shown that Leyla Harding, played by Roxy Shahidi, has d.i.e.d. In the emotional scenes, Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) is working a shift at the hospital when several victims are brought in from the horrific crash.
After discovering that his mum was one of the people in the ambulance, Jacob frantically rushes around the hospital looking for her. In a truly devastating moment, Jacob stumbles across his mum’s lifeless body, with his colleague revealing that she d.i.e.d upon arrival.
The doctor explains that Leyla d.i.e.d from “severe blood loss” after she was impaled in the stomach.

Only Leyla was aware of the extent of her injuries, remaining silent as each of her friends left the limo in search of safety after the crash.
However, Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) eventually discovered Leyla was bleeding out and managed to drag her out of the limo and off the icy lake. Despite Kerry’s efforts, Leyla succumbed to her injuries.
It was confirmed last year that Roxy, 41, was leaving the soap after 17 years. The actress made her first appearance as Leyla in 2008, remaining on the soap for three years before permanently returning in 2013.
An insider disclosed to The Sun: “Roxy has adored her time on the soap and has made so many happy memories since first joining.

“The cast have become like family to her, and she has grown so much as an actress. But now, she feels it’s the perfect time to spread her wings and try something new.”
Leyla became the second casualty in the crash after Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) d.i.e.d instantly from the impact.
Although Leyla and Suzy are the only two who have d.i.e.d from the crash so far, another body was discovered in the bottom of the lake after Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) fell through the ice.
Fans are certain it’s Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter), as the bracelet on the body matches the one made by his daughter, Frankie.
