Emmerdale ‘confirms’ Joe Tate comeuppance as body is dug up in 20 pictures
Secrets and lies are at the centre of a mysterious week in Emmerdale, as previewed in my new spoiler pictures, with questions asked and ultimatums issued.
Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) stages his return in upcoming scenes and, despite how things were left between them,he reiterates to Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) that his feelings for her are, in fact, genuine.
Dawn resists him for a time but ultimately she knows that he’s right about her still being in love with him. When Joe asks her to leave Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) for him, she has a big decision to make.
The question is: just who will she choose to be with?
It’s not just the drama in Home Farm that features Joe next week as the dastardly schemer is also keeping his enemies close as he remains interest in the Milligans.
Steph (Georgia Jay), as viewers know, is still struggling to come to terms with knowledge of Anthony’s (Nicholas Day) m.u.r.d.e.r and upcoming scenes see her come to believe that the abuser is still alive.
In a bid to put her mind at rest, she attempts to dig up Anthony’s grave but the Miligans soon realise that the soil is undisturbed – and thus their attention moves to John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth), questioning if Anthony is really d.e.a.d after all.
Joe is intrigued by a showdown involving a member of the Miligan clan but his continued interest in the family in question ultimately sparks Caleb’s (William Ash) concern, prompting him to investigate.
Is Joe’s big secret set to out?
John, meanwhile, has some personal issues of his own to deal with, as he lashes out after Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) considers using Chas’ (Lucy Pargeter) bookings for their wedding.
Aaron is confused over his behaviour, with John later apologising for his reaction as he opens up on his issues surrounding control. Are we starting to see the true John Sugden?
It’s going to be quite a week!
