Emmerdale confirms tragedy as the villagers unite in grief in 18 pictures
Emmerdale has revealed a first look at the drama to come, as seen in my new spoiler pictures, with a glimpse at the week following the devastating limo crash.
The ITV soap has left viewers in shock this week with a high-octane batch of episodes that saw various villagers left fighting for their lives when a limo crashed into an icy lake.
Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) was among those who met their demise in the tragedy, and while Emmerdale is keeping under wraps how exactly the week pans out, new spoiler images hint at what’s to come next week.
There’s not too much information regarding those involved in the limo stunt but what we can tell you is that a vigil is held, with the villagers gathering as a mark of respect.
Elsewhere, a crisis meeting is called for the co-conspirators over Anthony’s (Nicholas Day) demise as word of Caleb Miligan’s (William Ash) attempt to frame Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) gets around.
Cain, as viewers know, cheated on Moira (Natalie J Robb) with brother Caleb’s wife Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) – and the secret has come to light, with Caleb devastated by his brother’s betrayal.
The discovery could scupper all the hard work he, Cain, Chas (Lucy Pargeter), Aaron (Danny Miller) and John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) put into covering up Anthony’s m.u.r.d.e.r.
With the walls seemingly closing in, one of those involved suggests going to the police, which very much leaves the others concerned.
Steph (Georgia Jay), meanwhile, is determined to find out what everyone is hiding. Will she uncover the truth?
Up at Home Farm, Kim Tate (Claire King) is digging for dirt on Joe (Ned Porteous) when a guest arrives to reveals their own suspicions about the businessman.
Ross Barton (Michael Parr), meanwhile, grabbed and threatens Joe, trapping him in a barn where his condition worsens. Will Joe get help in time?
It’s going to be quite a week in the village, that’s for sure.
Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday, February 24 and Friday, February 28 at 7:30pm on ITV1 or stream from 7am on ITVX.
